"Gerüchten" zufolge ist richtig . In einem US R129 Forum gingen die Titan Spekulationen gar soweit, bis einer eine professionelle Materialanalyse des Grills in Auftrag gab. Auszug aus dem Bericht:

[SIZE=2]After a mild grinding/cleaning of the flattest surface of both submitted grill material samples, the test samples were scanned with the Niton XRF Analyzer per the required test procedures and per the machine manufacturer’s recommendations. The quantified chemical analysis recorded by these scans were documented by QTS as follows:[/SIZE]

[SIZE=2]In summary, please be advised that the two Mercedes SL500 (Model R129) radiator grill sections submitted to QTS for analysis were both found to be conforming to most industrial specifications for commercially pure aluminum, and no recordable amounts of titanium were detected by XRF analysis.
